THE BOOKS

Lee Thomas is a character who actually began to take shape while I was in high school.  By the time I actually wrote anything about him the ending lines of Spy Dreams had been created in my head, rewritten many times and the opening pages had been scribbled as rough notes.  That first version of Spy Dreams was done on a typewriter in the mid 1980's.    Soon after that I began to write the opening of  "Sand Trap".  I never found a publisher and could not afford to self publish in those days.  Then along came the internet and modern self publishing.  Since Sand Trap was written on the computer to begin with it became the first published novel about Lee Thomas.  A new version of Spy Dreams followed soon after.  Some of the characters have grown very real to me and have themselves sparked ideas for stories or parts of stories.  The additional stories also came along as various events triggered situations in my imagination.   More books are in the works and maybe even some spinoff novels.  Ever wonder what General Fleming did in WWII?  Some clues to that possible book are in  "Port in A Desert Storm" .  One hint about the WWII story; it involves a night where it rains ball bearings in Berlin.
